Dear Luton Borough Council
I live with my family in Luton and for personal and professional reasons hope you approve the plans lodged by Luton Town Football Club, my employer.
Since I left Crawley Green FC as a young 7 year old I've played for Luton Town's academy. This summer when I was given a professional contract, recently making my debut against Aston Villa. It was a night I'll never forget. Wearing the colours of my home club and winning man of the match on live TV.
I have a lot of local friends in the squad, academy and at home and we always complain about the lack of things to do in the town. Luton is a great town but we've never been able to socialise with each other unless we travel. Both sets of plans give us exactly what Luton is missing!
To have the chance to play at Power Court in four or five years is a massive inspiration for me to do well. But to my friends, to see these plans at Power Court and Newlands Park gives them an incentive to stay.
Features like the Crystal, the Imax, the grass roof, the open river Lea, the halo lights and the stadium itself can only be good for the town, so please pass the plans quickly.
