Ref: Power Court Application 16/01400 and Newlands Park Application 16/01401

Dear Sir/Madam,

Although I'm not originally from Luton since I joined the club a couple of years ago, I've moved to Bedfordshire and tried to fully embrace the area I live in.

I was brought up in London where there's something to do on virtually every street. The fact there is going to be a live music venue and restaurants and bars next to the ground will give people around Luton places to visit in their spare time, which they might travel into London for or, dare I say, out to Milton Keynes or Watford at the moment.

I drove into Power Court as part of the filming for the club's new sponsorship launch video recently and I didn't realise how a bleak place right in the middle of town can be left derelict for so long – over 12 years! It seems a real shame that a big part of the town, right next to the train station hasn't had anything built on it.

As you would expect me to say I love the stadium right in the middle of town and love the designs and images. But I also think all the other facilities would be great for everyone, football supporters or not.

We are all aiming for promotions this season and beyond and we are all wanting to progress in football. This new stadium could be a game-changer for us all – players and fans alike.

The facilities at Newlands Park on the M1 will also be a game changer for the area as well as helping the club to build the stadium. If it's true about a £250m boost to the economy every year I can't get my head round the difference that will make to people's lives. That positivity can't be ignored.

Kind regards,
Cameron McGeehan
