Luton Town player
Im a Luton Town player and would like to register my support for the planning application for a new stadium. I joined the club last summer and the positivity around the place has increased massively since the plans for Power Court and Newlands Park first went public.
Ive spent most of my career so far at Bournemouth and we were down in League Two like Luton when I first joined them. In fact, we got a 17-point deduction in the same season that Luton were hit with the minus 30. They were dark days for both clubs, but now Bournemouth are a Premier League side and the town had changed a lot alongside the clubs progress. Theyre building a new shopping centre and hotels because more people are visiting. With a new ground to help the club grow, theres no reason why Luton cant do the same.
I moved to the area to live with a couple of my team-mates and being away from home, we have plenty of spare time to fill. We often go to the cinema, but usually head down to Watford. The new Imax at Newlands Park would make it a lot easier to get to after training, and other attractions around the ground would make it more appealing to stay local for a night out after a game.
