Former Luton Town player
A Bedfordshire lad since the age of 10, living 11 miles from Kenilworth Road I was lucky enough to represent an incredible football club in Luton Town for 5 years and although I departed a couple of years ago for Gateshead it's still a place I look back on with some very special memories. Being a 20-year-old lad walking out of the tunnel hearing 10,000 passionate Hatters willing you to do well is something only young local lads dream about but I was lucky enough to experience. Power Court is a must for a club that's only going to keep growing in stature and support as they climb the football league pyramid. A club and town that done so much for myself deserves a new home and to create more special memories for the new and old generation of Luton Fans that such a wonderful venue would attract. Kenilworth Road will forever have many memories for many people but for a club that's only increasing in stature, size and support a new home will allow all this to happen. Not only a footballing venue but a place for local residents to be proud of and shops and leisure facilities that will be accessible and pleasurable to use. To me it's a no brainer to grant a fantastic town and one I still hold very close to my heart a new Stadium in Power Court and Newlands Park facility to help the football club and town to continue to thrive.
I hope these plans will be granted by the council and I can be at Power Court as player or joining the Special Supporters in celebrating such a venue.
