Luton Town player
I'm a Bedfordshire boy through and through and the plans by the football club for Power Court and Newlands Park look absolutely amazing and something that will keep younger people in the local area interested as well as improving the look of the town and the success of the football club.
My mum works in one of the schools in Luton, but I can see that a lot of the younger people she teaches leave the area as soon as they get the chance as there arent enough decent jobs in and around Luton and not enough places to go.
With the ideas behind Power Court and especially Newlands Park, I think that would help tackle these young people feeling the need to move away and help to keep them here so they can build their future in the area.
As young players at the club, the stadium is going to be great. We all can't wait to play at Power Court, but it will also give my mates somewhere to go in the evening too. If we want to go to a gig or something like that, we have to go to Milton Keynes or into London. This will keep people local because there is a live entertainment venue and bars to go to.
Please give these plans the go ahead so we can help build a bright future for Luton.
