Luton Town club captain
Dear Luton Borough Council,
Power Court - Application 16/01400 and Newlands Park - Application 16/01401
Since joining Luton Town FC in the summer of 2015, Ive remained living in the Essex home my wife and I bought when I was at my previous club. Moving to Luton isnt something weve considered, but having seen the fantastic plans the clubs ambitious board have put forward for the new stadium at Power Court and the Newlands Park development by J10 of the M1, it is something that would certainly appeal more in the future, especially with our daughter not yet having started school.
Relocating is a big decision to take, but 10,000 new jobs and so many more things to do around the town would attract others to move to Luton. Not just footballers playing for the club, but other skilled workers who can help make the town great again.
Were trying to do that on the pitch, and I hope to still be around when Power Court is built so I can contribute to what will undoubtedly be a golden era for the town and the club. But for future generations more than myself, I really hope you pass the plans without hesitation.
