Luton Town player
To Luton Borough Council,
Since I signed for Luton Town in 2014 Ive continued to live in Essex and commute every day to training and matches with my team-mates Olly Lee and Scott Cuthbert.
There is plenty to do around where we live, and although I did look at Luton when I originally moved from West Ham, I felt the area didnt have enough appeal to up sticks and move here permanently. There isnt that much to do unless you drive to other places like Milton Keynes or jump on the train into London, which I can do from home anyway.
The clubs planning applications for the new stadium and the development by Junction 10 of the M1 would change that. Power Court looks like it would be a great place to play football and it is somewhere young pros would want to play, as well as any other footballer. But from what Ive seen of the plans there is going to be so much to do there as well as the football. My family can come and we can make an evening of it, have something to eat after a game and maybe see some live music or comedy.
Newlands Park looks like it would be an ideal place to go shopping and to go somewhere for something to do, especially for young people to help keep them off the streets with the cinema and things like that, not to mention the jo opportunities.
Because of these reasons, I would like to fully support Power Court 16/01400 and Newlands Park 16/01401.
