Luton Town player
To Luton Borough Council,
I would like to support the plans for Power Court- 16/01400& Newlands Park- 16/01401.
I have played for Luton since I was a kid and I think the plans for the new stadium and shopping area look great.
I made my debut for Luton Town first team three years ago, and being a part of that was amazing. On that day I played against Woking when we were in the Conference. I think it would be amazing for a young player to make their debut and begin their careers at Power Court, it would change their lives. It would help draw young talented players to the club and with that a lot more fans who want to move into the area.
This would be helped massively by Newlands Park. The shopping area would be great, because the Mall is a bit dated. I live in Stevenage and its the same there. The shops arent that good and Im sure a lot of people would make the journey over to Luton like they do to Cambridge, MK or London. It would be great if there were a couple of nice places I could go with my mates in the town after training or matches, and I might even be ready to move out of my parents and into one of the new apartments next to the new stadium by the time they are hopefully built!
