Luton Town player
Dear Luton Borough Council,
I joined Luton Town FC in August from Huddersfield, and I made my professional debut last week for the Hatters.
It was a brilliant moment in my career and I can see myself being at the club for a long time. At the moment, I am living in a hotel in the town centre until I find my own place, it is my first time living away from home and it is a big change! From staying in Luton, I know what the town is like, and because I can drive, I reckon I will try and find somewhere a little bit out of the town where there is a bit more on offer in terms of shops and stuff to do.
I like it here a lot, but until there is more going on I cant see myself living here. Thats why I think Newlands Park will be a great asset to the town. Young people like myself will definitely have something to do and know that if they move to Luton, there will be somewhere to go and something to do if they havent got anything on.
By 2020 I will be 23-years-old and I really hope by this time I am a regular for the Town and what better place to play for a football team than Power Court. I was shown the new plans for the stadium and Newlands Park when I first arrived, and although I signed for the club mainly to further my career in professional football, the ideas behind it were amazing and it is now a major reason why I can see myself being here for a long time.
I hope you approve these plans.
